Queen Elizabeth Country Park

Park, Waterlooville

A 1,400-acre country park on the chalk downlands north of Waterlooville, including Butser Hill, the highest point on the South Downs in Hampshire at 270 metres. The park provides walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding and nature watching in spectacular downland scenery. A visitor centre, cafe, adventure play area and car parks serve as the starting point for trails across the downs. The park is managed by Hampshire County Council and is open all year round. It is the nearest major outdoor recreation area for Waterlooville residents.
