St George's Church
Church, Waterlooville
An Anglican parish church on London Road, originally built in 1831 as a chapel of ease for the growing hamlet of Waterlooville. St George's is the oldest public building in Waterlooville and predates most of the town. The church was enlarged in the Victorian period and continues to serve as the parish church. Regular services, community events, concerts and seasonal activities are held throughout the year. The church is a local landmark and a reminder of the origins of the settlement.
