Drift Road
Street guide, Waterlooville
A road on the northern fringe of the Waterlooville area, running through Lovedean towards the open countryside. Drift Road has a semi-rural character, with scattered houses, smallholdings and farmsteads interspersed with pockets of more recent residential development. The road marks the boundary between the suburban sprawl of Cowplain and the agricultural landscape to the north. Views from parts of Drift Road extend across open fields towards the South Downs. The road is used by dog walkers, horse riders and cyclists heading out into the countryside. Properties along Drift Road tend to be larger than those in the built-up area, with bigger plots and more rural settings.
