Forest End

Street guide, Waterlooville

A residential road on the western side of Waterlooville, running from London Road towards the open countryside. Forest End gives its name to the surrounding neighbourhood and is lined with a mix of interwar and postwar housing. The road starts in the more built-up area near the town centre and becomes increasingly suburban as it heads west, with larger houses and bigger plots. Some properties at the western end back onto open land and enjoy views towards Denmead and the South Downs. Woodlands Walk, a green corridor with mature trees, can be accessed from streets off Forest End. The road is quiet and residential, used mainly by local traffic.
