A residential road in the Purbrook area, running through a neighbourhood of established family housing. Ladybridge Road has a mix of interwar and postwar semis and detached houses, with front gardens and driveways. The road is moderately busy, carrying local traffic between the residential areas and the main routes. The community is settled, with a mix of owner-occupiers who have lived here for many years and newer arrivals. Properties are family-sized, typically three or four bedrooms, and well maintained. The road is close to Purbrook Heath and the local schools, and has good access to the A3(M) motorway for commuters heading towards Portsmouth or the M27.
