Mill Road

A residential road running between London Road and the western side of Waterlooville. Mill Road connects the main road to the quieter residential streets inland from the town centre. The housing is a mix of interwar semis and postwar development, with moderate-sized family houses set back from the road with front gardens. The road has a settled, suburban character and sees mainly local traffic. Side streets branching off Mill Road lead into residential cul-de-sacs and closes. The road is within easy walking distance of the town centre shops and library. Mill Road was historically the route to a mill that once operated in the area, though no trace of the mill survives.
