A residential road in the Cowplain area, running through a neighbourhood of postwar family housing. Padnell Road connects London Road to the residential streets to the east, passing Padnell Park and the surrounding area. The housing is predominantly 1950s and 1960s semis and detached houses, with some bungalows and later infill. Padnell Park, a well-maintained public green space with a playground and open grass, sits alongside the road and is well used by families and dog walkers.
